2010 Annual Celebration & Auction
July
24 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Greater Hansville Community Center
Come
celebrate 10 years of conservation and honor our founders,
landowners, volunteer and supporters. View auction
items starting at 10 a.m. Silent auction closes at
11:30 a.m. followed by a short program and live auction
of two items at 12:15 p.m. Enjoy a pot-luck picnic.
Bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share. Tours
of the Hansville Greenway 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Directions
to Greater Hansville Community Center:
From
Hwy 305 in Poulsbo, turn onto Bond Rd/Hwy 307. Bond Rd/Hwy
307 turns into Hwy 104. At the intersection of Hwy 104 and
Hansville Road,
turn left onto Hansville
Road. Drive 7.5 miles
to Buck Lake Road.
Turn left and drive 0.7 miles to the Community Center.

July 27 - Tekiu Point-Hood Canal Shoreline Walk - 1pm -
5 pm
Tour an old forest
and scenic beach at Tekiu Point, Hood Canal. Meet
at GPC office at 12:45 pm. Reservations required.

Wednesday,
August 11 - East Kitsap Boat Tour - 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join GPC aboard
a 46' charter fishing boat to see GPC conservation projects
from Illahee to Indianola. Enjoy wine/beer and light
hors d'oeuvres. Check in at 5:15 pm. Tour leaves
at 5:30 pm from the Port of Brownsville, return 8:30 pm.
Spacae in limited. Reserveation required.
Fee: $45. RSVP to kate@greatpeninsula.org or 360-373-3500.
Sunday,
August 22 - Peterson Farm Day - 1 pm - 4 pm
Farm history &
equipment, hay rides, games, food & more. Fun
for the whole family! Take SR 3 to Trigger Ave. exit.
Suggested Donation: $8 per adult, $4 per child (12
and under), $24 for a family (4 or more).
