12 - GPC Annual Celebration, Cowling Creek Forest Preserve,
Suquamish
Come
celebrate the addition of 18 acres to the Cowling Creek
Preserve with Friends
of Miller Bay, Great Peninsula Conservancy and the Suquamish
Tribe.
- 9 a.m. - Tours of the Cowling Creek Forest Preserve
and the Nooschkum Family Compound on Miller Bay.
- 11 a.m. - Short program to honor our landowners, volunteers
and supporters.
- Noon - Potluck picnic lunch. Bring a
main dish, salad or dessert and a lawn chair.

Directions:
From Poulsbo take Hwy 305 towards Bainbridge Island, turn
left at Clearwater Casino onto Suquamish Way NE. Continue
about 1.5 miles through Suquamish on Augusta AVE NE, which
turns into Miller Bay RD NW. Continue .5 miles to
20325 Miller Bay RD NE. Follow signs to Cowling Creek
Parking.
